Shipstead Admits To Probation Violations
A joint disposition recommendation was agreed upon regarding Connor Jeffrey Shipstead in district court on Wednesday, Oct. 16.
Shipstead admitted to committing two violations of his probation conditions. He admitted to not obeying laws and ordinances during an incident in Billings and to being in criminal possession of dangerous drugs on April 11, 2024.
Based on the recommendation by both parties, Judge David J. Cybulski revoked Shipstead’s three-year deferred sentence and reimposed a three-year deferred sentence.
Shipstead must also spend two months, ending on Dec. 15, in the county jail.
In another hearing scheduled for Wednesday, defendant Breanna Luv Rahn-Lowe failed to show up for her revocation hearing.
Cybulski said that Rahn-Lowe also didn’t show in Sheridan County for a different case on Tuesday, Oct. 15.
The docket of only two cases was unusual for law and motion day in Roosevelt County.
“The shortest law and motion day in history,” Cybulski joked at the end of the court time.
