White Bear Enjoys Cheering For Wolves
Senior Profile
Wolf Point High School senior Kaleah White Bear has treasured her four years as a member of the school’s cheer squad.
“I wanted an excuse to do a sport,” White Bear said of why she started out in cheer. “Then, I fell in love with it.”
What she likes most about cheerleading is the connection with the student section and cheering for her friends.
A highlight this summer was the squad being selected Universal Cheerleaders Association’s All-Americans.
This fall, she was a member of Wolf Point’s new girls’ flag football program. She played center and other line positions for the Wolves.
“It was fun,” she said. White Bear added that she enjoyed being in a hotel room with friends when the team went on trips. As far as school, her favorite class is college preparation.
Her favorite teacher is Karli McGowan because she’s easy to talk with.
After high school, White Bear plans to attend college in Great Falls and earn a certificate to be a veterinary technician. She then wants to attend veterinary school and become an equine veterinarian.
“I’ve been around a lot of livestock my whole life, and I enjoy being around horses,” White Bear said.
