Saco Woman Dies In Fatality Crash

Alysa Jensen, a 23-year-old Saco/Hinsdale woman, died in a fatality crash in Phillips County on Friday, Oct. 25, according to the Montana Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred at 10:49 p.m. on Montana Highway 243 near mile marker 19.

According to the highway patrol, the victim’s Chevy Trailblazer was traveling southbound on Montana Highway 243 north of Saco. The vehicle ran off the right side of the road. After exiting the roadway, the vehicle came to an abrupt stop when it hit the ditch. The impact resulted in the fatality of the driver. The driver was pronounced dead on scene.

Alcohol is suspected to be a cause of the crash.
