School Play Should Be Entertaining

Supporters of the arts along with people just looking to have a good time should attend the Wolf Point High School’s presentation of Dracula on Nov. 12 and Nov. 14.

Director Jacob Boysun explains the presentation is a drama and he teases that the play can be scary at times.

“We’ve never done a serious play before, so I wanted the kids to have that chance,” Boysun said.

Ticket prices are $8 for adults and $5 for students. Children under the age of 6 get in for free.

Of the 18 students involved with the play, only one is a newcomer to performing in a school production.

“I’m happy where we are three weeks out,” Boysun said of rehearsals. “We still have a lot to do. We’ll be ready.”

Cole Boysun, a junior, is excited to play the title character.

“The fact that I can do a scary, sweet presentation type of a villain,” Boysun said of what he likes about the role.

Students playing the other main characters include Chase Adams as Jonathan Harker, Elle Ryan as Mina and Reilly Rees as Van Helsing.

Boysun urges residents to support the students by attending the play.

“I’m pulling my hair out, but it’s fun,” Boysun laughed.
