Senior Profile Wozniak Plays Positive Notes In Wolf Point
Wolf Point High School senior Victoria Wozniak especially enjoys her time with music and science at the school.
Wozniak has played the flute in band since the seventh grade.
“I like learning all the new music,” she said. “I like the music that Mr. Bradshaw has brought in.”
She feels the music under the new director is a little more complicated than in years past. Her favorite song during last week’s concert was “The Great Locomotive Chase.” Wozniak noted, “It sounds kind of darker that the other ones.”
Her success in music has included qualifying solos for the state music festival as both a sophomore and a junior. She also has participated in a woodwind trio.
Wozniak’s goal this year is to perform another solo at the state music festival. “I want it to be something that challenges me,” she added.
The senior also likes being a part of the school’s pep band.
“It brings energy to the games,” Wozniak said. “People enjoy it when we’re there. It’s a good way to show school spirit.”
She is a two-year member of the National Honor Society.
One of her favorite hobbies is acrylic painting.
Her favorite class is chemistry, which she studies online. “I enjoy science classes,” she said.
She has went to school in Wolf Point her entire life. “It’s a close community. It’s easy to know everybody,” she said about Wolf Point.
After high school, she plans to attend Montana State University in Bozeman to study pre-med. Her thoughts for her include range from dermatology to dentistry.
