Students Attend JMG State Conference
Students from Wolf Point Junior High School attended the recently-concluded annual Lead Montana Conference in Helena. Five students from Jobs for Montana Graduates class in Wolf Point traveled to Helena with their teacher and principal.
The event was attended by around 170 participants from all over the state of Montana. Workshop facilitators include Mike Jetty, the Indian Education specialist from Office of Public Instruction. The event also featured speakers including the mayor of Helena, Wilmot Collins, and Jobs for America Graduate national president-elect Austin Small.
Jobs for Montana class is a program under the Department of Labor and Industry which aims to enhance students’ exposure to career exploration and employability skills.
