Woman Changes Plea In District Court
Maria Del Socorro Hernandez- Archdale changed her plea to guilty during a hearing in district court on Tuesday, Oct. 29.
She made the guilty plea to the charge of criminal possession of dangerous drugs. The charge carries maximum penalties of five years in jail, a $5,000 fine or both.
During the hearing, Hernandez Archdale made the statement that she was at the Gold Dust Casino on or about Aug. 11 and that she knowingly had meth and drug paraphernalia in her purse.
District Judge David Cybulski ordered a pre-sentence investigation.
The conditions of Hernandez- Archdale’s bail were changed to have the requirement of two urine tests per week.
In another hearing on Oct. 29, a waiver of extradition was issued for Richard Scott Lien so he could face charges in South Dakota.
