Indians, Speak Thunder Selected

Three players from Poplar and one from Wolf Point earned selection to the District 2B second team for the volleyball season.

Voted to the second team from Poplar were senior Angelina Escarcega, senior Rebecca Gorder and junior Braelyn Nordwick.

Wolf Point’s junior Kashlyn Speak Thunder also was selected to the second team.

First team selections included Harlem’s senior Raelynne Briere, Glasgow’s junior Joely Chappell, Malta’s junior Kendall Clausen, Fairview’s senior Kambre Kloker, Glasgow’s senior Macy Martin, Fairview’s junior Macy Tjelde and Malta’s junior Denvyr Tuss.

All-State selections from the district were Glasgow’s Martin, Fairview’s Tjelde and Malta’s Tuss.

Others named to the second team were Fairview’s senior Carly Buxbaum, Glasgow’s senior Hayden Green and Malta’s senior Ava Hanson.
