Circle Wins State Title

The Circle Wildcats went through the Class C state volleyball tournament undefeated to win the state championship in Bozeman on Saturday, Nov. 9.

The Wildcats defeated Gardiner in the title match in a four-set match 27-25, 19-25, 25-18, 25-17.

Circle finished the season with a 30-0 record.

The accomplishment marks the third state volleyball tournament for the Wildcats.

Circle opened state tournament play by defeating White Sulphur Springs, 25-20, 25-27, 25-18, 25-15.

The Wildcats then knocked off Denton/Geyser/ Geraldine by a final of 25-21, 25-23, 25-15.

Circle advanced into the championship with a 30-28, 25-23, 27-25, victory over Gardiner.
