Commissioners Approve Of New Library Computers
The Roosevelt County Library located in Wolf Point will soon have new computers.
Roosevelt County Commissioners approved the request for 12 new Dell computers during their weekly meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 12. The computers consist of six for employees and six for the public.
“They are fairly well used,” Commissioner Gordon Oelkers said of the library’s computers.
Total cost for the computers is $10,521. Commissioners believe the last time new computers were purchased for the library was six or eight years ago.
Oelkers said the current purchase request was in the library’s budget.
Commissioner Robert Toavs made the motion for the computer purchases. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Gary Macdonald.
Also during the meeting, annual pay raises were approved for Myklynn Lewis, Anne Heller and Nufry Boysun.
Chelsie Lindsay was hired to work in the detention center.
Commissioners have scheduled a gravel bid opening for Tuesday, Dec. 10, at 11:30 a.m.
Bids would be for 26,000 tons of three-quarter inch minus gravel to be stockpiled north of Wolf Point.
