Players Earn Volleyball Honors
Three Roosevelt County volleyball athletes have received All-State recognition for their performances this season.
Among the All-State selections from District 1C are Bainville’s senior Elsie Wilson, Froid/Lake’s senior Mara Salvevold and Bainville’s junior Hailey Berwick.
Also voted All-State from District 1C were Scobey’s junior Camrie Holum, Plentywood’s senior Mallory Tommerup and North Country’s junior BaiLee McColly.
Wilson, Holum and Tommerup were also All-State picks last season. Salvevold and Berwick were All-Conference selections last year.
Culbertson’s senior Jazzmin Fugere was one of the other six players who received All-Conference recognition.
The other five players were Scobey’s junior Kennadi Cromwell, Scobey’s senior Kaytie Aanstad, North Country’s junior Kennedy Simonson, Richey/Lambert’s sophomore Jolee Klempel and Plentywood’s senior Lexi Kittleson.
Second team All-Conference picks included Bainville’s senior Miah Pippenger, Culbertson’s junior Ayden Ator, Bainville’s junior Lila Butikofer, Froid/Lake’s senior Addison Elvsaas, Froid/ Lake’s senior Brooklyn Nordwick and Culbertson’s sophomore Emma Berwick.
Other second team selections were Scobey’s senior Mady Willis, North Country’s junior CharLee McColly, Scobey’s eighth-grader Emery Rouse, MonDak’s senior Katelynn Folvag, North Country’s senior Berkley Hillman and North Country’s junior Ireland Means.
