Students Compete At Circle Meet

The Culbertson speech and drama team traveled to Circle on Saturday, Nov. 23, to compete in the Turkey Trot Invitational. In all, 14 Class A, B and C schools were in attendance.

Students placing for Culbertson included Colt’n Rees, with a first in memorized public address; Peyton Jahns, with a first in program oral interpretation; Harrison Green, second in impromptu; Josie Simonsen, second in memorized public address; Sublime Cady, fourth in dramatic interpretation; Felixe Becker, fourth in original oratory and Kaylee Kohl, sixth in dramatic interpretation.

The team placed first in Class C Speech Sweepstakes. The next tournament will be on Dec. 7 in Columbus.
