Bell, Calder Receive League Football Honors
Two football players from Wolf Point High School received All-Conference recognition in District 2B this season.
Mike Bell, a senior, was voted to the All-Conference first team at defensive end.
Zandon Calder, a sophomore, was selected to the second team as an offensive lineman.
State champion Malta placed six players on the All-State team. All-State selections from the district were Glasgow’s Wyatt Babb, Malta’s Blaine Downing, Glasgow’s Khye Gamas, Conrad’s Chris Graham, Malta’s Dawson Hammond, Malta’s Kenan LaBrie, Malta’s Stockton Oxarart, Malta’s Mason Simanton and Malta’s Treyton Wilke.
The All-Conference team on offense featured Malta’s Oxarart at quarterback, Conrad’s Roscoe Shaw at running back, Malta’s Downing at running back, Fairfield’s Ryder Carper at wide receiver, Malta’s Hammond at wide receiver, Glasgow’s Babb at tight end, Conrad’s Graham at athlete, Conrad’s Trapper Kinamon on line, Glasgow’s Andrew Linder on line, Glasgow’s Connor Hudyma on line, Malta’s Kenan LaBrie on line and Malta’s Kohner Schipman on line.
First team picks on defense were Cut Bank’s Dallas Berkam at defensive back, Fairfield’s Ryder Carper at defensive back, Glasgow’s Kade Strommen at defensive back, Malta’s Oxarart at defensive back, Glasgow’s Hudyma at linebacker, Malta’s Landon Retan at linebacker, Cut Bank’s Alex Wahl at linebacker, Malta’s Treyton Wilke at linebacker, Malta’s Downing at defensive end, Glasgow’s Jaydeen Hanshew on line and Malta’s Kenan LaBrie on line.
Special team selections were Malta’s Landon Retan at kicker, Fairfield’s Israel Perez at punter and Malta’s Downing as return specialist.
