Bearcubs Drop Home Games To MonDak

Frazer’s girls’ basketball team put up a good fight but fell against MonDak, 60-57, on Saturday, Dec. 14.

The Bearcubs led by a 31-28 half-time margin, but Mon-Dak tallied 19 points in the third quarter for a 47-40 lead.

Brianna Beston and Maci Fourstar-Sibley led Frazer with 18 points each. Audrey Smoker added 10 points. Also scoring for the Bearcubs were Baily Beston with seven, Isabelle Fourstar with three and Elli Mail with a point.

Abby Lowes accounted for 41 points to lead the Thunder.

In the boys’ game, MonDak won by a 61-29 margin. The Thunder led 28-15 at the half and 50-24 after three quarters of play.

Top scorers for Frazer were Gabriel Beston with 14 and Bryce Fourstar with 12 points. Also scoring were Ronald Roundface with two and Cassius Smoker with a point.

Dilan Wade scored 38 points for MonDak.
