Lady Wolves Come Close Against Lame Deer
Wolf Point’s girls’ basketball team lost a close 55-50 game against Lame Deer during action in Lockwood on Friday, Dec. 13.
The Wolves held a 22-21 advantage at the half. Kashlyn Speak Thunder scored nine points for Wolf Point during the first half.
Lame Deer grabbed a 37-31 lead in the third quarter.
Brenna Blount hit two three-pointers to highlight Wolf Point’s comeback bid in the fourth quarter.
Ameliya Doney led the Wolves with 17 points.
Speak Thunder and Blount scored 13 points each.
Also scoring were Navella Weeks with three, Caitlyn Wilson with one and Karmyn Plain Feather with one.
