Lady Wolves Fall Short In Sidney

Wolf Point’s girls’ basketball team couldn’t come back in the second half and lost at Sidney by a 67-34 final on Tuesday, Dec. 10.

The Wolves trailed by only a 13-6 margin at the end of the first quarter.

Sidney increased the gap to 28-20 at the half. Ameliya Doney scored eight points for the Wolves in the quarter.

The Eagles held a 45-27 advantage at the end of the quarter.

Sidney outscored the Wolves 22-7 in the final period.

Doney led the Wolves with 12 points. Keeley Blount-Henderson finished with seven points.

Also scoring were Ma’kenzie Jackson with five, Brenna Blount with three, Amya Martinez with three points and Karmyn Plain Feather with two points.

Leading Sidney were Av’e Norby with 17 and Savanna Anderson with 14 points.
