Wolves Lose Contest To Lame Deer
The Wolf Point Wolves struggled in the second half and lost against Lame Deer, 75-56, in Lockwood on Friday, Dec. 13.
After trailing by an 18-11 margin at the end of the first quarter, the Wolves struck for 23 points in the second quarter for a 34-29 half-time advantage. Leading the Wolves in the second period were Andrew Williamson with seven and Richard Campbell with five points.
Lame Deer outscored the Wolves by a 31-2 margin in the third quarter for a 60-36 lead.
Top scorers for Wolf Point were Williamson with 17 and Zandon Calder with 14 points.
Also scoring were Roper Flaten with eight, Cole Holen with six, Campbell with five, Rebel Mays with five, Jett Azure with one and Reed Garfield with one.
