Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Report
The Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office responded to 58 calls from Dec. 16-23.
Dec. 16
Deputies responded to County Road 1019 near Culbertson for a two-vehicle collision. Both vehicles were able to be driven away. There were no injuries.
Someone slide into the back of a Roosevelt County Sheriffs Office’s vehicle. The Wolf Point Police Department was the primary investigator.
Deputies assisted the Wolf Point Police Department with a complaint from a bar on Main Street in Wolf Point. An employee said an adult female was threatening to beat her up.
Dec. 18
Deputies received a report of a male screaming at Town Pump in Wolf Point. Two males were arguing regarding one of them hitting a dog. One male started punching the other. Both parties were detained and checked for warrants.
Deputies assisted the Wolf Point Police Department regarding a report of a theft from Town Pump. The police department arrested Reyne Jackson, 32. A female deputy conducted a search.
Deputies were dispatched to Brockton for a domestic situation. An adult male was being aggressive towards his spouse. Deputies used a taser to get the male under control. The male made threats to officers as well. Gary Lone Bear Sr., 48, was charged with partner/family member assault and obstructing a peace officer.
Dec. 19
Deputies assisted Culbertson ambulance with an adult male who fell and injured his back.
Deputies assisted a male requesting to make a theft report to the Las Vegas, Nev., police. He said that after he had a massage performed in Las Vegas, his watch was missing.
Dec. 21
Deputies received a report of trespassing at a remote road near Bainville. A property owner said a semi-truck ran through his gate and was driving in the hills.
Deputies received a report from Culbertson that someone heard gunshots. The investigation determined that an individual was shooting at some cans.
Dec. 22
Deputies responded to the Stateline Casino near Bainville where a customer said they were being threatened when they were playing machines.
Deputies assisted Fort Peck Tribes Department of Law and Justice with a report of burglary in the Poplar city limits. FPTDLJ placed the man under arrest, but he escaped in handcuffs from the hospital. He was recaptured.
