Wolf Point Performs Holiday Concert For Community
The Wolf Point music program presented the holiday concert, “Making Spirits Bright,” featuring high school and junior high students on Monday, Dec. 16.
Highlights of the night included the swing choir singing This Holy Night, With Holy Night, as the school’s alumni and other guests also took the stage to join in the performance.
Musical director Jacob Bradshaw said he wants the group effort to become a new tradition in the holiday program’s vocal portion.
The junior high choir sang Frosty the Snowman and The Chipmunk Song.
The concert choir performed The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire) and Let It Snow.
Concert choir members include Kailani Chamberlain, Brendon Drum, Ta’Leigha Headdress, Justyne Martell, Stephanie Martell, Harris McConnell Jr., Tyler Melbourne, Benjamin Onstad, Evie Onstad, Paige Rios, Mackiya Schindler, Sheena Standing Rock, Audrey Weinberger, Ryan White Horse Jr. and Curtis Yellowtail-Johnson.
Combined choirs sang Jingle Bell Rock and Have A Holly, Jolly Christmas.
Wolf Point’s swing choir performed Christmas (Baby, Please Come Home and All I Want For Christmas Is You.
Swing choir singers were Cole Boysun, Alena Bradshaw, Boston Bradshaw, Aedyn Dionne, Cante’ Grey Bull, Paige Rios, Quiarrah Rios, William Schwarzrock, Ryver Summers and Logan Wolff.
The high school band played Ancient Carol Variants and All is Calm. Wolf Point High School alumnus Rebekah Landsrud directed the second number.
High school band members include Chase Adams, Jayla Big Talk, Cole Boysun, Boston Bradshaw, Kailani Chamberlain, Dreyson Clark, Maya Deserly, Aedyn Dionne, Ethan Fowler, Kaleigha Laverdure, Justyne Martell, Azarea McConnell, Evie Onstad, Ezekiel Payne, Reilly Rees, Jazzmyn Robinson-Martell, William Schwarzrock, Sheena Standing Rock, Lonnie Steele III, Ryver Summers, Ryan White Horse Jr., Jaycen Williams, Logan Wolff and Victoria Wozniak.
The junior high band performed African Bell Carol
and Santa’s Blizzard Escape.
Students in the junior high band include Gabriel Alonso, Kymani Archambault, Aliyana Azure, Brylee Bearcub, Aurora Big Horn, Alena Bradshaw, Scarlett Brien, Jennifer Brown, Dez’Marie Clark, Zachary Dionne Jr., Malleena Fast Horse, Lakota Grey Bull, Evan Kawasaki, Zayne Lambert, Jacoby Lilley, Amya Low Dog, Dan Mireles Jr., Kellen Moran, Adrienne Peterson, Sundance Standing Rock and Kyran Wall.
Combined bands finished the night by performing Angels
in the Bleak Midweather conducted by junior Cole Boysun and Too Much Percussion.
