Lady Wolves Fall In Scobey

Wolf Point’s girls’ basketball squad lost by a 45-26 final in Scobey on Saturday, Jan. 4.

After trailing 9-6 at the end of the first quarter, the Wolves scored nine points in the second quarter for a 15-14 half-time advantage. Keeley Blount-Henderson scored seven of Wolf Point’s points during the first half.

Scobey took control by outscoring the Wolves 14-2 in the third quarter for a 28-17 lead. The Spartans hit three three-pointers in the fourth period.

Blount-Henderson finished with 14 points including two three-pointers. Also scoring for Wolf Point were Ameliya Doney with four, Caitlyn Wilson with four, Marley Moran with two and MaKenzie Jackson with two.

Kaytie Aanstead scored 16 points for the Spartans.
