Sheriff’s Office Finishes Year With 169 Total DUI Arrests

The Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office was busy enforcing the crime of driving under the influence of intoxicants during 2024.

In total, the sheriff’s office made 169 DUI arrests in the county during 2024.

Of those arrests, 59 came in Wolf Point’s city limits. There were 33 DUI arrests conducted in the Poplar city limits in 2024 by the sheriff’s office.

Other areas included Poplar FPHA with 21, Wolf Point rural with 17, Culbertson with nine, Wolf Point FPHA with seven and Bainville rural with six.

The biggest month for DUI arrests was September with 37 incidents. Other months with large numbers of DUIs included February with 20, May with 20, November with 18 and June with 16.

The sheriff’s office made 2,160 arrests during the year.
