Wolves Fall In Scobey

Wolf Point’s boys’ basketball team lost in Scobey, 7026, during non-conference play on Saturday, Jan. 4.

The Wolves trailed by only a 14-8 margin after the first quarter. Zandon Calder scored six of Wolf Point’s points in the quarter.

Scobey exploded for 31 points in the second period to gain a 45-16 lead. John Carney accounted for 21 points and hit six three-pointers during the quarter.

Scobey outscored the Wolves by an 18-4 margin in the third quarter.

Calder led the Wolves with 10 points. Richard Campbell finished with six points.Also scoring for Wolf Point were Sean Hamilton with five, Roper Flaten with four and Jett Azure with two.

Leading the Spartans were Carney with 27 points and Kolten Machart with 12 points.
