Brockton Boys Defeat Froid/Lake
Brockton’s boys’ basketball team outscored Froid/Lake, 66-35, during District 2C action in Brockton on Thursday, Jan. 9.
Ahead by a 12-7 margin at the end of the first quarter, Brockton tallied 20 points in the second period for a 3219 score. Brockton’s Ronnie Black Dog accounted for 13 points in the second quarter.
Brockton added 21 points in the third quarter for a 5326 advantage. Miles Boxer Jr. scored six points in the period.
Top scorers for the Warriors were Black Dog with 15, Boxer with 11 and Colter Nygard with 11 points.
Also scoring were Tefton Bear with nine, Weston Lambert with four, Josh Firemoon with four, Jarid Fasthorse Jr. with three, Charlie Firemoon with three, Kameron Rattling Thunder with two, Quannah First That Walks with two and Thomas Blackdog with two.
Rylan Young led the Red Hawks with 11 points. Carson Kelm finished with eight points. Rounding out Froid/ Lake’s scoring were Roberto Orozco with six points on two three-pointers, Cody Olson with three, Aaron Orozco with three, Jacob Nordlund with two, Teagan Fossum with one and Jhett Davidson with one.
