Letters To The Editor
Dear Editor,
Selling our Parks. Why does our city council members think they have to sell our parks! Triangle Park has been there forever! It is a major part of Wolf Point history.
It is time that our city council members start protecting our parks! Make our parks clean and safe so tourists that come through our town can enjoy them! Our schools, school children and families should be able to go into our parks feel safe and enjoy them!
I do believe there are city ordinances that need to be followed in our parks that are not being enforced!
It is time that our council members take a drive through their wards and see what is happening. There are weeds in the streets, holes in our streets, burnt out houses, street signs you can’t read, junk cars on streets, boulevard parking, public intoxication and “CRIME,” “CRIME,” “CRIME.”
These are the problems the council members should be looking at, not selling off our parks!
It’s time that we start using video cameras in our parks and streets to help protect our citizens and downtown stores! Cameras will help law enforcement! Let’s clean up Wolf Point and save our parks.
The city needs to follow the city of Wolf Point’s ordinances! Call the City office at 406-653-1852 and your council members. Tell them, “Save our parks and follow our city laws.”
City council meeting is on Jan. 21 at 7 p.m.
