Wolf Point Wrestlers Place In Cut Bank

Wolf Point’s AnnaLeigh Matejovsky won the title at 120 pounds at the Cut Bank Invitational.

Matejovsky pinned Cut Bank’s Izzy Salois in 1:20 for the title. Matejovsky won two other matches by pin and another on a major decision.

Two Wolf Point wrestlers placed near the top in the boys’ division during the Cut Bank Invitational.

Jesse Reed earned second place at 150 pounds. He was pinned in the title match. Reed won four matches with one pin and three technical falls at the tournament.

Mike Bell placed third at heavyweight. He won a 13-2 major decision in the thirdplace match. The senior earned four other victories, including three on pins, during the tournament.

Also winning matches on pins for Wolf Point’s boys during the meet were Colton Weyrauch, James Corpron and Evan Kawaski.

Paisley Bruner placed sixth at 130 pounds. She pinned two opponents during the tournament.

Lakealah Mays won two matches on pins at 105 pounds. Aniya Smoker won one match by pin at 100 pounds.
