Lady Wolves Score Win In Harlem
Wolf Point’s girls’ basketball squad exploded for 20 points in the fourth quarter to earn a 47-28 league victory in Harlem on Friday, Jan. 17.
The Wolves led by only a 27-25 margin entering the fourth period. MaKenzie Jackson scored eight points in the fourth period. Kashlyn Speak Thunder added five points in the period.
After a 9-9 deadlock at the end of the first quarter, Wolf Point led 20-15 at the half.
Jackson and Speak Thunder finished with 12 points each. Also scoring were Caitlyn Wilson with seven, Keely Blount-Henderson with six, Mattie Azure with six and Ameliya Doney with four.
Scoring six points each for Harlem were Gracie Sanchez, Lacia Walls and M. Mount.
