Wolves Place At Miles City Meet

Wolf Point’s AnnaLeigh Matejovsky won the title at 120 pounds at the Cowboy/ Cowgirl wrestling tournament in Miles City during the weekend.

Matejovsky won by technical fall over Lewistown’s Grace Hicks in the title match. Matejovsky won two of her other three matches on pins.

Mike Bell placed third at 285 pounds in the boys’ side.

The senior won a 7-2 decision over Laurel’s Tye Brown in the third-place match. Bell also won two other matches on pins and another by decision. His only loss came in sudden death during the semi-final round.

At 150 pounds, Jesse Reed won two matches but missed placing.

Aniya Smoker and Lakealah Mays each won matches on pins at the tournament.
