Bainville Splits Road Games Against MonDak
Bainville’s girls’ basketball squad posted a 50-30 road win over MonDak on Friday, Jan. 24.
The Bulldogs jumped out to a 16-9 lead in the first quarter and held a 22-11 half-time lead.
Bainville then added 16 points in the third period to increase the margin to 38-19.
Leading Bainville’s attack were Elsie Wilson with 16 and Hailey Berwick with 11 points. Also scoring were Lila Butikofer with eight, Chandi Johnson with seven, Tally Berwick with six and Miah Pippenger with two points.
Abbey Lowes led the Thunder with 14 points.
Bainville’s boys put up a good fight but fell by a 56-46 final.
MonDak held a 25-16 halftime advantage and led 43-27 at the end of the third quarter.
The Bulldogs tallied 19 points in the fourth period.
Parker Berwick scored 18 points for the Bulldogs. Reed Winn added nine points.
Also scoring for the Bulldogs were Rowan Wilson with seven, Kaiden Holmes with five, Isaiah Bjorge with four and Trevor Robertus with three.
Leading the Thunder’s attack were Dillan Wade with 18, TC Swenson with 11 and Thomas Arnson with 10.
