Culbertson Falls To Wildcats

The Culbertson Cowboys lost at home against league leader Plentywood by a 72-24 final on Saturday, Jan. 25.

The Wildcats gained an 18-1 advantage during the first quarter of action.

Plentywood added 23 more points in the second quarter for a 41-12 half-time margin.

The Wildcats outscored the Cowboys by a 20-10 margin in the third quarter.

Gavin Deen scored 10 points to lead the Cowboys.

Also scoring for Culbertson were Mark Kirkaldie with eight, Plenny Williams with three and Dawson Bergum with three points.

Culbertson lost to Plentywood by a 42-21 final in the girls’ game.

The Wildcats jumped out to a 29-13 half-time lead and held a 37-19 advantage at the end of the third quarter.

Culbertson will play at home against Froid/Lake on Friday, Jan. 31.
