Close Races In District 2C

With just one week left in the District 2C regular season for basketball, some places are still to be determined heading into the district tournament schedule for Feb. 19-22 in Sidney.

In the girls’ standings, Bainville tops the field with a 12-0 record while Plentywood stands second at 9-3.

Brockton and Savage are tied for third place with 7-5 records. Right behind are the Richey/Lambert Fusion at 6-6.

Rounding out the standings are Froid/Lake at 4-8, MonDak at 3-9 and Culbertson at 0-12.

In the boys’ standings, Plentywood remains undefeated with a 12-0 league mark. Savage holds second place at 10-2.

The Culbertson Cowboys are third with an 8-4 mark while Brockton stands fourth at 7-5.

Bainville and Richey/Lambert are tied for fifth place with 4-8 records. MonDak is seventh at 2-10 and Froid/ Lake is eighth at 1-11.
