Wolf Point qualified eight wrestlers for the state meet during the divisional tournament held in Huntley Project.

Michael Bell captured the title at 285 pounds. The senior pinned Baker’s Logan Scherman in 5:25 for the championship. Bell won three other matches on pins during the weekend.

Jesse Reed placed second at 150 pounds. He was pinned by Huntley Project’s Grady Schmidt in the title match. Reed won one match on a technical fall and another on a pin at the divisional meet.

Kayeiko Villaluz took fifth place at 103 pounds. He pinned Harlem’s Tyrell Turnsplenty in 1:39 for fifth place. Villaluz scored another victory on a decision.

James Corpron placed seventh at 126 pounds. He pinned Glasgow’s Alex Earl in 2:44 for seventh place.

In the girls’ division, Annaleigh Matejovsky won the title for 120 pounds. The eighth-grader pinned Poplar’s Blake Follette in 1:47 for the championship. Matejovsky pinned two other opponents at the meet.

Aniya Smoker took sixth place at 100 pounds. Smoker pinned Circle’s Adalyn Hall in 3:39 during the meet.

Paisley Bruner took seventh place at 130 pounds. She pinned Broadus’ Karlee Emmons in the seventh-place match. Bruner also won another match on a pin.

Lakealah Mays took seventh place at 105 pounds. Mays pinned Baker’s Billie Miller in 3:30 for seventh place. Mays also won another match on a pin during the divisional meet.
