Lustre Loses Games in Scobey

The Lustre Lions fell short against regular-season league champion Scobey, 59-46, during boys’ basketball action in Scobey on Saturday, Feb. 15.

Scobey held a 31-26 halftime advantage and increased the gap to 50-36 in the third quarter.

Lustre’s top scorers were Johnslee Pierre with 12, Clay Reddig with 12 and Cam Reddig with 11 points.

Also scoring were Prestyn Klatt with eight and Byron Ewing with three points.

Leading the Spartans were John Carney with 21 and Bran Handran with 14 points.

Lustre’s girls lost by a 65-15 final in Scobey.

Lauryn Holzricher scored 11 points for the Lions. Scoring two each were Hannah Brown and Ashtyn Traeholt.

Top scorers for Scobey were Kaytie Aanstad with 25 and Camrie Holum with 11 points.
