Wolff Enjoys Speech, Drama, Learning

Senior Profile
Speech and drama was among Wolf Point High School senior Logan Wolff’s favorite activities while attending the school.
He participated in the program for three years after being encouraged by coach Jacob Boysun. “My friends were a big push in me joining,” Wolff said.
The senior competed in impromptu where he placed 12th at the state meet. In the competition, a student is given a quote or comment and has three minutes to write a speech about the topic.
“It’s a fun challenge,” Wolff said.
He has also been involved in Wolf Point’s school plays throughout the years. His favorite role came in Moriarty’s Revenge during 2022.
“I was a police officer that didn’t speak,” Wolff said. “A lot of my actions were mime out. I had the most fun in that one.”
The National Honor Society member also enjoyed playing trumpet for the school’s band and pep band as well as singing in the choir. One of his choir’s songs earned a superior rating last year.
Other involvement included being a member of Wolf Point’s cheer squad for three years.
His favorite class is mathematics under the instruction of Karli McGowan. Currently, he is studying calculus in a class of three.
“It’s challenging,” he noted. “You’re constantly learning something new.”
Wolff’s favorite teacher is Lori Sande.
“There’s a lot of teachers that I’m on good terms with,” he said.
His plan is to work as a farm hand until November. Then, tentatively, he wants to enlist in the U.S. Navy’s nuclear program. Wolff is interested in the program because of his chances for employment after completion and spending a few years on a ship.
“It’s a really good career if you make it,” Wolff explained.
