Frazer Girls Qualify For Divisional With 77-41 Victory Over Dodson

The young Frazer Bearcubs qualified for the divisional tournament with a 77-41 victory over Dodson during the District 3C girls’ basketball tourney in Wolf Point on Friday.

The Bearcubs took control from the start with a 25-5 lead at the end of the first quarter.

Frazer enjoyed a 48-16 halftime advantage.

Reaching double figures for the Bearcubs were Isabelle Fourstar with 17, Bri-Anna Beston with 16, Maci Fourstar-Sibley with 15 points and Baily Beston with 13 points.

Rounding out the scoring were Aubrey Mail with nine, Nolani Sibley with five, Elli Mail with three, Audrey Smoker with two and Kassidy Hentges with two points.

Top scorers for Dodson were Tissie Webb with 17 and Jazzlyn KillEagle with 13 points.

The Bearcubs will meet Bainville in the first round of the divisional tournament.
