Lions Stop Frazer Boys
Lustre’s boys’ basketball team cruised to a 90-16 firstround victory over Frazer at the District 3C tournament on Wednesday.
The Lions gained a 23-9 lead in the first quarter and enjoyed a 47-13 half-time advantage.
Lustre outscored the Bearcubs by a 25-0 margin in the third quarter.
Top scorers for the Lions were Diek Olfert with 13 and Chris Traeholt with 10 points. Also scoring were Hadden Olfert with nine, Johnslee Pierre with nine, Clay Reddig with eight, Byron Ewing with eight, Wheeler Damboise with seven Prestyn Klatt with eight, Joel Reddig with four, Kayden Charette with four and Nathan Fast with two, Gabriel Beston scored eight for the Bearcubs. Zayden Hentges and Ronald Roundface added four points each.
