WPCO Prepares For Elections

With a small crowd due to extreme cold weather conditions, the Wolf Point Community Organization’s meeting was a short one on Monday, Feb. 17.

WPCO chair Holly Hamilton reminded everyone that the organization will hold its annual elections on Monday, March 17.

Hamilton said offices for election will include chair, vice chair, secretary, treasurer and committee members. No other business will be conducted during the meeting.

She noted that a special meeting occurred Feb. 5, to discuss the need on update the organization’s constitution and by-laws. The proposals will be voted on during a future regular meeting.

WPCO members unanimously voted to give $3,000 for the Wolf Point post-prom activities. Funds will help pay for games and food at the event.

Officials noted that high school students don’t need to attend the prom in order to go to post prom.
