Air Service Keeps Steady Numbers

Wolf Point’s L.M. Clayton Airport was the second most busy location of Montana’s five Essential Air Service sites during 2024.

Wolf Point had 3,183 enplanements during the year. The only EAS airport with more enplanements in Montana was Sidney with 7,336.

Figures from other airports included Havre with 3,095, Glasgow with 2,970, Glendive with 2,137.

Wolf Point’s total of 3,183 in 2024 was slightly above the 3,166 figure of 2023.

Wolf Point kept its streak going of reaching more than 3,000 annual enplanements. The totals for Wolf Point were 3,349 in 2021, 3,069 in 2022 and 3,166 in 2023.

Back in 2015, Wolf Point reported 3,957 enplanements. The total was above 3,800 for each year from 20172019. The number dipped to 2,755 in the COVID impacted year of 2020.

Wolf Point had more than 200 enplanements during each month of 2024. The highest months were August with 310 and July with 308.
