Sandau Enjoys Art Projects At School

Senior Profile
Wolf Point High School senior Jessa Sandau finds that art is a great way to express herself.
Sandau especially likes to work on clay pottery projects and to paint art pieces.
“I like making art about nature,” Sandau said. “I like mountains and forests.”
Last year, Sandau earned honorable mention in the Keep Montana Green art contest.
“I didn’t expect it,” she said of the honor.
Her other favorite classes are government and anatomy/ physiology.
Her favorite teacher is Leslie Larson. “She’s really nice. She’s good of explaining what she’s teaching,” Sandau said.
After high school, her plan is to attend cosmetology school in Missoula.
“Right now, it’s to be a hair dresser and later down the road to be a tattoo artist,” she explained.
She has one tattoo, which features her switch blade. “It was inspired by my favorite video game. I got the same switch blade,” she said.
