School Board Hires Staff For Next Year
The Wolf Point School Board hired staff members for the 20252026 school year during its monthly meeting on Monday, March 10.
Tenured teachers approved were Melissa Acenas, Dezi Adams, Agboola Aliu, Rainey Azure, Andrea Baker, Kim Beckers, Amanda Campbell, Melissa Cromwell, Bridget Drummond, Angela Figueroa, Emily Hamilton, Dianne Hoversland, Leslie Larson, Grant Legare, Erin Loendorf, Karli McGowan, Scott Montgomery, Joelle Page, Robert Page, Patricia Payne, Eric Peterson, Joyce Ragland, Vivian Schultz, Rona Stevens, Dorian Talks Different, Diane Taylor, Patricia Toavs, Abigail Traeholt and Sen Pin Andrew Vun.
Non-tenured instructors hired include Honey Angeles, Mary Ann Barba, Jacob Bradshaw, Kathleen Damboise, Alexa De La Cerna, Sheryl Dulohan, Maricar Endozo, Jakilyn Harada, Mary Ann Jaraula, Marissa Lagman, Cody Larson, Mailyn Madrigal, Iris Mejos, Prescilla Mendez, Kayla Messerly, Mateo Molina, Alvin Padilla, Jessica Peterson, Steven Schwartz, Ma Sonia A. Siason, Waldymar Sinco, Angela Swenson and Ryan Wilson. Offers of tenure were extended to Carlita Mendoza, Carl Pasoy, Sonya Smoker, Laura Stichman and Charissa Zaballero.
Emergency authorized educators approved were Angela Bates, Laura Dennis, William Larsen, Shelby Martell, Alyson Payer, Anthony Red Cloud, Lori Sande, Ashley Schwarzrock, Tiffany Sietsema, Jane Sorley, Laura Wall, Ashlee Wilkening and Archer Woodstock.
District administrators renewed were high school principal Kim Hanks, Northside School principal Georgie Gourneau, Southside School principal Tara Thomas, Northside dean of students Rain Escarcega-Turcotte and curriculum/ testing/data coordinator Daniel Horsmon. Renewed of contracted staff include business manager Demi Wilkinson and district technology administrator Cole Hanks.
Resignations/retirements were received from junior high principal Amanda Prongua, Northside teacher Sherry Perkins, Northside teacher Helen Weite, Northside paraprofessional Marissa Hamilton and head cook Winona Deserly.
Extra-curricular hires included T’Elle Evans for junior high golf coach, Lindsay Nefzger for junior high tennis coach, Scott Montgomery for high school assistant track coach, Wyatt Miller for high school assistant track coach, Dave Allen for volunteer track coach, Bethany Legare for volunteer track coach, Alyson Payer for junior high track coach and Michael Iwen for junior high track coach.
