Froid High School senior Milo Stangeland’s education at the school has included involvement in many different activities.

He recently placed at the state Business Professionals of America conference in the category of advanced desktop publishing. His other categories were broadcast, podcast and graphic design.

Stangeland appreciates the business and communication skills that he learned as a member of Froid’s BPA chapter.

In FFA, his favorite activity was welding.

He has also been a member of a local 4-H club for two years. He likes the information shared about agriculture and farming.

Stangeland’s favorite sport is golf. A highlight has been playing at the divisional tournament.

As a member of the Red Hawks’ football team, a good memory in qualifying for two state championship games.

His favorite classes are art and annual. A class project of creating a large Red Hawk in front of the gym was a highlight for him.

His favorite teacher is LeeAnn Stangeland.

“She’s my mom,” he said. “She has always been open and kind to people.”

After high school, Milo plans to study generals at Williston State College and then major in business administration at MSU Billings.

He wants to help out at the family farm and the family owned B& S Qwik Stop in Brockton.
