Poplar’s Ricker, Nordwick Voted All-State

Poplar’s senior Kaniel Ricker and junior Braelyn Nordwick each were selected All-Conference and All-State this basketball season.

Other players voted to the All-State team for boys’ basketball from the district were Malta’s senior Bohdi Brenden and Glasgow’s sophomore Cade Hudyma. Others voted to the girls’ All-State team were Malta’s juniors Neva Jacobson and Denvyr Tuss.

Other players selected to the boys’ first team were Malta’s junior Dawson Hammond, Harlem’s junior Cody McCabe and Fairview’s senior Tyler Loan.

Wolf Point’s sophomore Zandon Calder and Poplar’s senior Walker Burshia were each second team selections. Also voted to the second team were Glasgow’s senior Wyatt Babb, Harlem’s sophomore Tayden Cauliflower, Malta’s senior Treyton Wilkie and Glasgow’s senior Myles Yoakam.

Other players named to the girls’ first team were Harlem’s senior Aaraya Mount, Fairview’s junior Macy Tjelde and Glasgow’s sophomore Mayzie Yoakam.

Wolf Point’s freshman Ma’Kenzie Jackson and Poplar’s senior Mattie Ayers were second team selections. Also picked for the second team were Fairview’s senior Carly Buxbaum, Glasgow’s junior Joely Chappell, Harlem’s senior Gracie Sanchez and Malta’s junior Emree Stuart.
