Stafne Enjoys Hoop Time For Wolf Point

Wolf Point High School senior Chief Stafne enjoyed his days playing basketball for the Wolves.

“I was a good baller,” Stafne said.

He was a member of the high school program for three years before electing not to play for personal reasons this season.

He says his favorite shots were “step back threes” and from mid-range.

Aside from basketball, Stafne doesn’t have any other favorite hobbies. “I’m just living life to its fullest,” he explained.

His favorite class is government. “We learn stuff to help us in the future,” Stafne said.

Cody Larson is Stafne’s favorite teacher. “He’s a chill guy and easy to talk with,” Stafne said.

A role model of Stafne’s in Wolf Point is “Big Sam.” Stafne explains, “He motivates me for what I want to do. He also loves his family.’

After high school, Stafne plans to attend Haskell Indian Nations University in Kansas. He is unsure of his career path at this time.
