Area Basketball Players To Take Part In All-Star Games

Area basketball players will participate in the Norbs All-Star Classic on Thursday, April 10, at Sidney High School.

The girls’ game will start at 6 p.m., and the boys’ contest will begin at 8 p.m. The three-point shooting contest is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Proceeds will assist the Jeremy Norby memorial scholarship fund.

One of the girls’ teams will be coached by Sydney Dethman. Players will include Plentywood’s Mallory Tommerup, Bainville’s Hailey Berwick, Sidney’s Ave’ Norby, Savage’s Cambry Conradsen, Bainville’s Lila Butikofer, MonDak’s Abby Lowes, Fairview’s Macy Tjelde, Plentywood’s April McCabe, Brockton’s Ava Lone Bear and Froid/Lake’s Brooklyn Nordwick.

The other girls’ team will be coached by Jon Skinner. Players will include Richey/ Lambert’s Keira Rains, Froid/Lake’s Mara Salvevold, Bainville’s Elsie Wilson, Brockton’s Tamryn Bauer, Fairview’s Carly Buxbaum, Richey/Lambert’s Brynne Hill, Bainville’s Tally Berwick, Richey/Lambert’s Jolee Klempel, Sidney’s Savanna Anderson and Savage’s Aspen Peterson.

One on the boys’ squads will be coached by Rollie Sullivan. Players will be Bainville’s Rowan Wilson, Plentywood’s Carson Solberg, Savage’s Zane Pilgeram, Brockton’s Jarid Fast Horse, Plentywood’s Ben Hagen, Sidney’s Tanner Tiesen, Froid/Lake’s Joseph Robertson, Fairview’s Tyler Loan, Plentywood’s Henry Kukowski and Savage’s Hunter Sanders.

Cody Steppler will coach the other boys’ team. Players include Sidney’s Cy Faulhaber, Culbertson’s Bridger Salvevold, Plentywood’s Nathan Trupe, Plentywood’s Landon Flickinger, Brockton’s Colter Nygaard, Fairview’s Wyatt McPherson, Plentywood’s Chance Klein, Plentywood’s Ayden Kaul, Savage’s Sayer Erickson and MonDak’s Dilan Wade.
