Culbertson Celebrates Prom

Area residents filled the old armory building March 29 in Culbertson for prom festivities, including the grand march, which began at 8 p.m..

The event was styled as a “Vegas Prom.”

The 2025 royalty court included King Mark Kirkaldie and Queen Jazzmin Fugere, juniors Ian Snyder and Ayden Ator, sophomores Cal Steppler and Payton Labatte and freshmen Gabe Annett and Kalia Featherston.

More than 50 students attended an after prom event at Safari Trampoline Park in Williston, N.D. Pizza and pop were on offer, along with arcade games. bumper cars and plenty of jumping.

A Father Daughter Dance was held Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at the Culbertson School cafeteria.

Coming up: an all junior high “Spring Fling” dance is planned for area kids grades 6-8 at the old armory April 5. The event will run from 6:60-10:30 p.m. Contact the town office for more information.
