By Bill Vander Weele
Wolf Point will have one contested race for a school board position this year.
Liara Braaten and Robert Manning have each filed to serve on district I. Manning was appointed last November to hold the position until the election. Manning replaced Keith Higgins in district I after Higgins moved outside of that district.

Higgins is the only filed candidate in district 6. Incumbent Sarah Copenhaver didn’t file for re-election.
The annual school election in Wolf Point will be held Tuesday, May 6, by mail ballot.
Ballots will be mailed Thursday, April 16, by the Wolf Point School District.
