Wolf Point High School drama students are preparing for their spring play to be presented in the school’s auditorium on Friday, April 4, and Saturday, April 5.

“The Crimson House Murder” will start at 7 p.m. each night. Ticket costs are $8 for adults and $5 for students. Children under the age of 6 are admitted free.

Director Jacob Boysun describes the play’s subject as “goofy.”

Boysun said, “We did a serious one in the fall when we did ‘Dracula.’ So, we’re doing a fun play in the spring.”

One added element is the students built the play’s set. Boysun said it took the students about four hours to paint and another three hours to assemble the backdrops.

The cast features about 20 students to entertain audience members.

“That’s another reason why I picked this play,” Boysun said of the amount of characters. “It has a big cast, and they are fun parts.”

Cole Boysun as the lead detective will be one of the characters that will create laughs throughout the performances.

“Every role is pretty good,” Jacob Boysun said, adding that he guarantees audience members will laugh.
