Victoria Wozniak and Charlie Page are the Scholars of the Week in Wolf Point for the week of Jan. 16. Wozniak, 13, is in the eighth grade. Her parents are Loretta and Jeff Wozniak. Siblings are Savannah and Gabrielle. Her extra-curricular activities include band and flute. Her favorite class is algebra. Her favorite teacher is Wyatt Murdoch. Wolf Point Speech Members Prepare For Divisional Meet


The Wolf Point speech and drama team competed in the Great Falls Central virtual meet with 44 other B and C schools from across Montana on Saturday, Jan. 16. There were 225 different entries and 279 competitors. Daniel Sears competed again in spontaneous oral interpretation and placed third out of 24 in that event. Pound Puppies Treats 95 Dogs, 37 Cats


Wolf Point Pound Puppies Tina Betshismedicine told the Northern Plains Independent that the group concluded another two-day spay/ neuter clininc in Wolf Point Jan. 17. Said Betshismedicine, “It was wild. We did three days and ended up with 95 cats and 37 dogs spayed or neutered.” Dr. Heather Grimm conducted the clinic, assisted by techs Jamie Hitchcock, Marvin Matlock and Janice Greibel.

Ashtyn Hentges of Wolf Point has earned selection to the honor roll, dean’s list and chancellor’s list at Montana Technological University in Butte. A student who earns a 4.0 GPA is placed on the chancellor’s list. Derek Bowker of Culbertson has been named to the President’s Honor Roll for the fall 2020 semester at Bismarck State College. Students must maintain at least a 3.50 grade point
