Wolf Point High School senior Sam Moccasin is learning lessons both in the classroom and after school during his senior year. Wayne Waarvik Sr., 88, of Richland died Monday, Oct. 26, 2020, at Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital in Glasgow. He was born in Lustre on May 30, 1932, to Isak and Christine (Nelson) Waarvik, the youngest of five children. He was born to William Youngman Jr. and Stella (Coulter) Youngman on June 11, 1949, in Poplar, where he was raised and went to Poplar Schools. He met Carol Clincher during their high school years and they married in 1969. Before Jo’e was born, they left in ‘70s to California on the “Relocation Program.” They moved home in 1972,
