The Knierim family is encouraging students in college classes to send their transcripts and applications to apply for awards toward their expenses in the fall. Students must have completed at least a full year of post secondary schooling and have residency in Valley, Roosevelt, Sheridan or Daniel counties.

The 122nd Red Bottom Celebration will be held in Frazer June 19-22. Thursday is camping day, with a community feed set for 6 p.m. and a youth dance at 7 p.m.
Dance competitions will include Fancy, Traditional, Jingle and Grass, with categories for adult women and men, teen girls and boys and junior girls and boys and a wide array of specials.
Grand entries will be held Friday night at 7 p.m.

Under an hour in length, TYA productions are perfect for the entire family: geared towards children, but sure to engage all ages while it encourages and fosters a love for theatre. The Fort Peck Fine Arts Council has announced that this will be the final season for Andy Meyers, artistic director at Fort Peck Summer Theatre. This is his 15th season. Meyers joined the company in 2011.
