Edward Morris Jr. of Culbertson, has been named to the Bismarck State College President’s honor roll for the summer 2025 semester. Students must maintain at least a 3.50 grade point on a 4.00 scale while enrolled in at least 12 semester hours of classes to qualify for the BSC president’s honor roll.

Librarian Mary Drake told the Community News that she is seeking input for an hours change that will be seeking approval at the September meeting of the Roosevelt County Library Board. “We are asking for public input and comment on the possibility of changing our hours,” said Drake. “We would like to have the opportunity to be open the first Saturday of each month from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Once again, the Thomas and Corinne Nyquist Foundation is accepting applications from nonprofit organizations in Bainville, Culbertson and Froid and in New Paltz, N.Y., for funding for small community projects with a deadline for applications of Nov. 1.
